2. Description of Service

Outfix is a mobile application designed to help you dress better by understanding your wardrobe and personal style. The Service analyzes your clothing items using artificial intelligence to provide personalized outfit recommendations, helping you discover new combinations from items you already own, save time getting dressed, and make more confident style choices.

The Service includes:

• AI-Powered Wardrobe Organization: Upload clothing images and let our AI automatically categorize items by type, color, and body part
• Smart Outfit Recommendations: Receive personalized outfit suggestions based on color harmony principles, style matching algorithms, weather conditions, and your preferences
• Digital Wardrobe Management: Organize, browse, and manage your clothing collection with owned and wishlist sections
• Marketplace Discovery: Discover clothing items from brand and affiliate partners that complement your existing wardrobe
• Outfit Sharing: Share outfit combinations with others via shareable links
• Future Features: Planned enhancements including wardrobe gap analysis, personal style profiling, and seasonal rotation suggestions

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as necessary
• Maintain the security of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason we deem necessary.

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service, including clothing images and outfit combinations. By uploading content, you grant us a license to:

• Store, process, and display your content within the Service
• Use AI models to analyze and classify your content
• Generate recommendations based on your content

4.2 Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload content that:

• Violates any laws or regulations
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material
• Contains malware or viruses

4.3 Public Sharing

If you choose to share outfits publicly, you understand that shared content may be accessible to other users through shareable links. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you make public.

5. Amazon Associates Program

5.1 Affiliate Links

Affiliate links in our Service are clearly identified. When you click on these links, you will be redirected to Amazon.com (or applicable Amazon site) where standard Amazon terms and conditions apply.

5.2 Commission Tracking

Commissions are tracked through Amazon's Associates Program tracking system. We have no control over Amazon's tracking, commission rates, or payment terms.

6. AI and Machine Learning

The Service uses artificial intelligence and machine learning models to analyze your wardrobe and provide personalized recommendations. Our AI technology:

• Background Removal: Automatically removes backgrounds from clothing images for cleaner visualization
• Clothing Classification: Identifies clothing types from 47+ categories (e.g., t-shirts, jeans, dresses, jackets)
• Body Part Detection: Determines which body parts clothing items cover (17 categories) for proper outfit pairing
• Color Analysis: Extracts dominant colors using advanced color theory (K-means clustering in LCh color space)
• Style Matching: Generates outfit recommendations based on color harmony, complementary colors, appropriate layering, and style compatibility
• Personalization: Learns from your preferences over time to provide increasingly relevant suggestions

AI Accuracy Disclaimer: While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated classifications and recommendations may not always be perfect. Factors like image quality, lighting, and unique clothing designs may affect results. You acknowledge that the Service provides automated recommendations and suggestions, not guarantees, and you are solely responsible for your own fashion choices and purchases.

Our AI is designed to save you time and inspire creativity, not to replace your personal judgment and style preferences.

7. Marketplace Items and Shopping Recommendations

The Service includes clothing items from marketplace partners, including brands and affiliates, to help you discover items that complement your existing wardrobe. These recommendations are based on color harmony and style matching algorithms, designed to fill gaps in your wardrobe and inspire new outfit combinations.

These items are provided for informational and recommendation purposes only. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of product information, descriptions, or images
• Product availability, pricing, or price changes
• The quality, condition, fit, or suitability of products
• Transactions between you and third-party sellers (including Amazon.com)
• Shipping, returns, refunds, or customer service from third-party sellers
• Any issues arising from purchases made through affiliate links

When you click on marketplace links and make purchases on external sites, those transactions are governed by the third-party seller's terms and conditions, not ours.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Rights

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Outfix and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Your Rights and Content Control

You retain full ownership of content you upload, including clothing images and outfit combinations. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Store and process your images on our servers
• Use AI models to analyze, classify, and enhance your content (background removal, color extraction, etc.)
• Display your content within the Service to you
• Display publicly shared outfits to other users who access shareable links

This license ends when you delete content from the Service. Your wardrobe items remain private unless you explicitly choose to share outfits publicly. We will never use your personal clothing images for marketing, training AI models on external data, or any purpose beyond providing the Service to you.

9. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
• AI recommendations will always be accurate or suitable

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUTFIX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Outfix, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another
• Content you upload or share

13. Data Retention and Deletion

13.1 Your Control Over Data

You maintain full control over your wardrobe data:

• Clothing Items: Your uploaded clothing images (original and AI-processed versions) are stored indefinitely until you choose to delete them. We do not automatically delete your wardrobe items.
• Item Deletion: When you delete a clothing item from your wardrobe, both the original and processed images are permanently removed from our storage systems.
• Account Deletion: If you request account deletion, all associated data including clothing images, wardrobe items, outfits, and personal information will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Outfix operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
